What to bring:
We sell ALL items related to Babies, Kids, Teens and Maternity!!!
Tagging & Pricing:
Tags MUST be printed out on cardstock weight paper (easily found at any office supply store) All tags must be attached to clothing and similar items using either a tagging gun or a safety pin that is 1" or larger (basically anything other than the little gold safety pins - they won't stay on). If the item is not pin-able (toys, games, books, etc), then please use clear packing tape to tape on the tag, but DO NOT tape over the barcode!!! It will not be able to be scanned with tape over it!
All prices must be in whole dollar or 50 cent increments. In other words, something should be priced $2.00 or $2.50, but NOT $2.99.
Clothing:
The better your clothing looks, the better it will sell! We will be inspecting each and every item at check-in.
All clothing must be hung on hangers. All children's clothes size 5 and under should be on children's hangers. Hangers may not be returned at the end of the sale, so please don't use your good hangers.
Important Note#1: All pants must be pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor.
Important Note#2: The tops of the hangers should look like a question mark, with the front of the item facing you. Please make sure to hang your clothes this way.
Dress up outfits, dance costumes, Halloween costumes (special costume section at our fall sale, but accepted anytime as well)
$2 rule:
If you have a single clothing item that you value at less than $2, please group it together with like items so that they will equal a value of at least $2.
Small articles of clothing, such as groups of socks, sets of onesies, etc. may be grouped together in a ziploc baggie. Please make sure the baggie is taped with packing tape and the tag is taped onto the OUTSIDE of the baggie, but Do Not Tape over the Barcode!
Shoes:
Shoes are accepted, however they must be in very good condition. Shoppers are very particular about used shoes, so they must be in like new condition!
Shoes may be prepared in a couple different ways:
1) You may put both pairs of shoes in 1 ziploc baggie and then the tag placed on the outside of the baggie; or
2) You may attach both shoes together using a safety pin or the shoelaces and then tag the shoe itself - this is the preferred way so that buyers can see the shoes better. The important thing however is that the pair of shoes stays together!
Toys/Puzzles/Books/Videos/Electronics:
Toys sell really well, but they must be in very good condition. If it is a battery operated toy, you must include the batteries. All toys must be in clean and presentable condition If your toy includes pieces, please put all pieces in a Ziploc baggie, seal the bag closed with clear packing tape, and attach the baggie to toy using packing tape. Tape puzzle and game boxes closed with packing tape. Use packing tape to attach all tags, but do NOT tape over the barcode. Please include small toys (ie McDonald's toys) in a grab-bag type collection, where multiple toys are in a sealed Ziploc baggie. These type of toys sell MUCH better when bagged together for one price. All videos and DVD's must be in good working order, in their original case.
Baby Equipment:
Baby Equipment Strollers, Pack n Play's, High chairs, Cribs, etc are wonderful sellers! Everything must be in wonderful condition, freshly cleaned and never damaged or recalled (http://www.cpsc.gov is a very good site to check for recalls)
Car Seats:
Car Seats must be 5 or less years old. Car Seats must NEVER have been in an accident. Car Seats must NEVER have had any recalls on it - you MUST check http://www.cpsc.gov/ or call 1-800-638-2772 to check for recalls on car seats. If you are consigning a car seat, you will be required to fill out the Consignor Car Seat Checklist and Waiver, found here.Feel free to print it, fill it out and bring it with you at the consignor check-in to speed up the check-in process.
Sports Equipment:
Spring /summer:cleates, soccer gear, swim toys, water tubes, baseball gear, bikes, skateboards, roller blades, any other summer sports gear
Fall/winter items: Hockey gear, pads, ice skates, skis, snowboards, any other winter sports gear.
